Wicked Album nothing like The Darkness more punk rock and heavy i give it thumbs up and can't wait to hear more of there music in the future! :D

Gods in the making.?

I was doubtful that they could move past 'the darkness' era but this album was a surprise, while the obvious influence of thin lizzy was present throughout the album, the guitar ventures, and the headbanging anthems was masterfully composed..
indeed stones gods could prove Rock can be fun without turning it into a pantomime, such being the downfall of the predecessors

It's so good right from the first fantastic track "Burn the Witch". I really love this album. The teeshirt's pretty good too ! Ihope the band continues for a long time.

After the demise of the shortly lived but incredibly successful British hard rock outfit The Darkness, co-founder Dan Hawkins regrouped with bass player Richie Edwards and drummer Ed Graham to form Stone Gods. With their tongues still firmly in their cheeks, Stone Gods deliver an album of full-on metal edged hard rock while sticking with the humorous lyrical content that made The Darkness such a huge success. The single 'Burn The Witch' is also included.
