Love it more and more each time i listen to it...good vocals and original sounds. Is best played as loud as possible-(Creator,You'll Find A Way,Say Aha)great to dance to!

On a first listen I only recognised a few tracks, but after successive plays, it started to grow on me. Santogold, has a particular style, but none of the tracks sound remotely similar. The next track is as suprising as the last. Listen to Santogold before you buy, its not for everyone.

Santi White, a Philly-born, Wesleyan-educated producer turned songwriter who used to play in punk band Stiffed, but now specializes in eccentric pop that's a culture-clash of world music, blips and bleeps, and a healthy dose of reggae.

Santogold merge White's versatile voice (which recalls M.I.A. one minute and Karen O the next) with quirky, off-kilter beats. The result is a kaleidoscope of organic and synthetic sounds held together by White's attitude-filled flow.

Debut album from feisty New York based Santi White aka Santogold. First coming to prominence after appearing on Mark Ronson's 'Versions', this album provides a glittering platform for her extraordinary talents. Refusing to be pigeonholed, her musical style whizzes though 80's pop, reggae and electro, reminiscent of artists such as MIA and Bjork, but Santogold maintains her own individuality throughout. Includes the singles 'LES Artistes' and 'Creator'.
