This album is quite awful and is seriously not worth listening to, downloading or certainly purchasing. Martha, of whom fortunately I have never heard before and if this piece of work is anything to go by, thank goodness for that, she clearly cannot sing and sounds permanent off key. I was sent this album in error and it is going back as fast as possible. Oh dear I’m afraid this is talentless dross!

moving on from its visceral predecessor, this still has the wit and style. although some of the tracks do outshine what was on the beefy second album

'I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too', is a musically and lyrically ambitious effort, from understated ballads to intense rock numbers. Martha Wainwright offers new takes on a couple old classics as well: Pink Floyd's 'See Emily Play' and the Eurythmics' 'Love Is A Stranger.' With her new album she has created a masterpiece that will further establish her as one of the most exciting and brilliantly creative songwriters of her generation.
'I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too' is the third album from singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright. While the record is mainly made up of original material, there are two covers featured; Pink Floyd's 'See Emily Play' and 'Love Is A Stranger' by The Eurythmics. With contributions from Pete Townshend (The Who), Garth Hudson (The Band) and her brother Rufus, Wainwright again shows her talent for warm, rich folk rock with plenty of colour and heart. Singles include 'You Cheated Me'.
Hailing from an esteemed, if dysfunctional, musical family that includes Loudon Wainwright III (father), Kate McGarrigle (mother), Anna McGarrigle (aunt), and Rufus Wainwright (brother), Martha Wainwright began following her own path in earnest with her 2005 self-titled debut. An assured and lauded folk-pop album, MARTHA WAINWRIGHT showcases the New York City-based singer-songwriter's expressive voice and unapologetically blunt lyrics, particularly on the scathing "Bloody Mother F***ing A**hole," easily placing the performer in the same revered territory as her accomplished older sibling.
