Out of the many hundreds of albums I have bought over the years this is one of the very few I have listened to without "Fast Forwarding".
Every track is a gem in its own right and it is a shame there are only 11 of them but like all the best that just leaves you wanting more!
Go ahead and buy it, you will be pleased you did.

Born in Peru and raised in Bristol isn't the average background for a soul singer, but then Beth Rowley is no average soul singer. Beth Rowley has a voice that commands one to listen to the purity of emotion that flows so enchantingly from her. Beth's sound combines a mix of soul, gospel, R&B, bluegrass and folk to create something stunningly fresh and original.

Beth's debut album contains a mix covers and originals including the self penned and brilliantly upbeat 'Sweet Hours' and the simply breath taking cover of Bob Dylans 'I Shall Be Released'.

'Little Dreamer' is the debut album from Peruvian born but Bristol raised singer/songwriter Beth Rowley. Produced by Steve Power, Kevin Bacon and Jonathan Quarmby (Blur, Richard Hawley) and co-written by saxophonist Ben Castle - son of the legendary Roy Castle - the album's faultless mix of smoky blues, soul and gospel sees Rowley take inspiration from classic artists such as P.P. Arnold and The Ronettes, while managing to give her unique sound a modern twist. The single 'Oh My Life' is also included.
