They Keep On Comin
18 September, 2008
Every Album They release seem to get better, the state, curb, silver side up, the long road and now all the right reasons even thou it did come out in 2006 the british public only seem to have just caught on, there new album should be coming out somewhere around november cant wait!
Even though rockstar has been overplayed by the radio it is a good song but not the best on the album.

- Kerrang - 3 (out of 5) - "...sticks out like a gemstone... where it counts, Nickelback deliver."
- Entertainment Weekly (No. 847) - "...[T]he first single, "Photograph," is a dreamy slice of autumn-weather radio rock that's sure to linger well into winter...." - Grade: B
Fourth album from enormously successful Canadian radio-rock troupe follows 2003's 'The Long Road'. Leaving the angst of grunge mostly behind them, this release finds them in a more pensive and reflective mood and features a greater palette of instruments, adding piano, keyboards and acoustic guitars into several of the tracks. Includes the single 'Photograph' and the track 'Side Of A Bullet', a tribute to murdered ex-Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell which features a solo recorded by the man himself.
Nickelback: Ryan Peake, Chad Kroeger (vocals, guitar); Mike Kroeger (bass guitar); Daniel Adair (drums).
On 2005's ALL THE RIGHT REASONS, the Canadian heavy-rock band Nickelback offers up more of its straightforward, guitar-fueled anthems. The pummeling opening track, "Follow You Home," features a no-frills Southern-rock vibe bolstered by the presence of ZZ Top guitarist/vocalist Billy Gibbons (who also appears on the jam-like closer, "Rockstar"), while the crushing "Side of a Bullet" is dedicated to Pantera's Dimebag Darrell, and includes an overdubbed solo by the late six-string hero.
As always, frontman Chad Kroeger's gritty voice remains Nickelback's calling card, and his emotive singing carries every tune, most notably the nostalgic "Photograph" and "Far Away," a tender, echo-laden ballad. Kroger has never met a guitar effect that he didn't like, as evidenced by the revved-up "Next Contestant," which relates the, ahem, difficulties of having a beautiful girlfriend. Though ALL THE RIGHT REASONS is slightly more eclectic than the group's past releases, it's unmistakably a Nickelback outing, and fans of the band are sure to be pleased.
Though journalistic shorthand often finds Nickelback dubbed "the Canadian Creed", the band found success on its own terms right from the start with the 2000 debut album THE STATE. It may be true that the band's heavy guitars, pounding drums, and dramatic vocals are in line with the Creed approach, but like that band, Nickelback is equally indebted to the heavy metal and hard rock heroes of the '70s. As with many other 21st century heavy rockers, though, Nickelback fits catchy pop sensibilities into their sonic onslaught, ensuring as enthusiastic a reception from radio as they receive from their rabid fanbase.
