A classic
19 November, 2008
Quite simply a masterpiece from a much maligned artist. The title track is a glorious trip of imagination as indeed are all the songs. Since 1977 no one i have played this too has disliked it the majority have gone out and bought it immediately.

De Burgh's brand of prog-lite initially struggled to hit the big time in the UK and the US, despite being a major act elsewhere. It wasn't until his seventh and eighth albums, THE GETAWAY (1982) and MAN ON THE LINE (1984), which featured the hit singles "Don't Pay the Ferryman" and "High on Emotion" respectively, that he made his presence felt. De Burgh enjoyed a massive global hit with the saccharine "Lady in Red" (1986) which announced his position as a major star, albeit a habitually derided one.
